- Since the Data Environment system is internet web-based, it is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, weekends and holidays included.
- This means that if your people need to put in overtime, focusing on a specific need in your project, the Data Environment system is always available for their use no matter the hour of day or night where they're located. No prior arrangements need be made for overnight use.
- Proprietary licensed software such as Microsoft Office components (Excel, Access, Word, etc.) are not used with the Data Environment system.
- A computer with a free web browser such as Firefox, the free Adobe Acrobat reader, and an open source image viewer program are all that is required. The computers can run Windows 98 Second Edition very successfully.
