- You tell your people the direction they need to go. Much of this is dependent upon the progress of other crafts, such as structural and pipe fitters. When it is possible for electrical construction to proceed in a particular unit or system, your employees use the Data Environment system to focus on that unit or system. They use the system to produce a custom list showing the location tags and circuit ends that terminate in that unit or system. With this custom list the foremen and electricians work through the list toward completion. Then it's on to the next unit or system that becomes available.
- The status of every part of the project is known to you and the foremen. Gone are the days of the "Wednesday afternoon status meeting" where nobody really knew the actual status of much of anything.
